How to Trim a Video Online

Fast vs Precise Mode

Fast mode copies the video stream without re-encoding. It's nearly instant but may not cut at the exact frame you selected — the cut happens at the nearest keyframe.

Precise mode re-encodes the video, which takes longer but cuts at the exact frame. Use this when frame-accurate trimming matters.

What's the maximum file size?
We recommend files under 500 MB for best performance. Files up to 1 GB are supported but may be slower. Larger files are blocked due to browser memory limits.
What video formats are supported?
MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, and MKV files are supported. MP4 with H.264 encoding works best.
