Frequently Asked Questions

Is my video uploaded to a server when I rotate it?
No. Clipiv processes your video entirely in your browser. Your files never leave your device. The rotation happens locally — no upload, no server, no data stored.
What video formats can I rotate?
MP4, WebM, MOV, AVI, and MKV files are supported. The output is always an MP4 file encoded with H.264 for maximum compatibility.
What rotation and flip options are available?
You can rotate 90° clockwise, 90° counter-clockwise, or 180°. You can also flip horizontally (mirror left-right) or flip vertically (mirror top-bottom). All operations reprocess the video to apply the transformation. After rotating, you may want to crop the video to remove any black borders.
